Under manager Burt Keeley who pitched for the MLB Washington Senators, and owned by William C. Niesen, the Green Sox of Chicago played their games out of Gunther Park which was, and still is, located at Clark Street and Leland Avenue, which was just 11 blocks from Wrigley Field.
